Reading Bowl

The Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl is for rising 4th and 5th graders who want to take their love of reading to the next level. Students read books from the list of Georgia Childrens Book Awards and compete on a team against other elementary schools based on their knowledge of the books. Interested students begin reading in the spring and practices after school begins in the fall. Practices continue until competition day in January. Come by the Learning Commons to find out more information! Mrs. Costello, Mrs. Buro, and Mrs. Silvera-Long will be coaching this year! Competition will take place in January, 2020.
